Faith’s wedding ended my week 9 on a good note, it was a fun time and reunion of the SOL fam. This week, on the other hand, started off with Penny Wars tabling on Monday, which was followed by my usual welcome desk. On Tuesday, I had my first Lambda Pi Eta meeting, which I’m very proud that I was invited to be a part of a national honor society for communication majors in the United States. At the meeting, there was an election and I got appointed the role Vice President of Programs and Events, which is another important opportunity that I’m really happy to be in through my final year of being a UC student. After my classes, I got an email that made me happy which is that I got the position of UC McMicken Arts & Sciences Student Ambassador, it’s not as cool or fun as being a UC Blue Ash Ambassador! But it’s another great opportunity that I worked hard for this year. On Wednesday I did the New Staff Meet & Greet event which was fun, laid back, and allowed me to meet all the new members of the UC Blue Ash family. I got my confirmation for my SOC interview and I’m looking forward to it happening next week; nervous, but also very excited, and really hope that I get the position. I’m finally catching up with school, and working on not getting behind by working ahead *insert wink emoji* overall I’m having a good time, and that’s that on that, See ya next week!
